Few seams, only those you need, with thick and resistant threads

We make “few and precise” stitching to our jeans, spartan because they are made with antique sewing machines, converted and reconditioned specifically to sew simple fabrics like denim.

The cloth used is made on old looms with spoken selvedge: this type of manufacture guarantees an exceptional quality of the fabric but at the same time a very meager yield.

The treatments on the finished product, where present, are always carried out with particular attention to environmental sustainability.

No chemical agents are used in the finishing, but only natural materials such as vegetable tannins obtained from tree bark waste, the already used coffee grounds recovered from bars and destined for organic waste, or even wine!

The desire to give new life to waste materials, environmental sustainability and circular economy are concepts that are always at the center of our way of conceiving products.

NELLE GRANDI FAUCI is a small workshop located in the hills of Irpinia of the East, in the South of Italy.

We make clothing respecting the ancient traditions of tailoring, using quality fabrics, mainly Italian and Japanese, to which we add the know-how of master craftsmen.

We prefer slowness, art, design. From this special alchemy are born ideas that are transformed into handicraft products to which the NGF label is affixed.
